Setukari group sees coming together of young adults above 30 years who act as “bridge builders” between the generation of youngsters (Yuva Kendra) and the elders (Vanaprasthis).
As a regular activity, we meet once a week to learn, understand and introspect on the teachings of Indian scriptures. Facilitated by Swami Avyayananda ji, these classes are mix of discussions, debates, and loud reflections on applicability of scriptures in everyday life. Helping the members thoroughly analyse the teachings from intellectual standpoint, Swami ji in his signature style of using wit and humor drives home a point for all to assimilate and experience.
Workshops & exclusions
Spiritual retreats, Workshops and Picnics are also conducted from time to time to help people understand complex lessons of scriptures in an easy fun filled manner. These exclusions include team activities and games to make the sessions more engaging and interactive.
Celebrations & Festivals
Setukaris celebrate all occasions, big and small, including festivals & birthdays with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The feel at Setukari is that of a family that comes together to celebrate all special occasions, be it janmashtami, deepavali, navratri or a birthday of a family member. True to the name of the group, Setuakris are also playing the role of leaders, managers, and organisers for the Mission activities in ParamDham family.
